what mat did you use on the terrain and square plane it might be what did it.

LOL I've got a pic on the back-burner that needs just this thing! Thanks, Guys! You just solved half my problem.

Pakled,
I remember that! :)
Alas I deleted all my bryce tuts, as I save tuts all the time...probably on a back up CD someplace.
basically you use a lens in front of the camera, to warp the ground/atmosphere into a gentle arc, giving a space-like effect.
In Vue, you can do a similar trick by altering the Camera's field of View.
I recall having a magnifying glass object in Bryce, that did exactly that: magnify as per real glass :)
And a telescope, isn't one or other a default bryce item?

**Further to my lil test pic, if anyone is interested in hearing what we sounded like that night here's a link...bear in mind we both had massive colds and as this was a reunion of the 2 surviving members of our original jug band, [we hadn't played these tune in* well nigh onto 30 years]* and only had a few weeks to remember 3 sets...not *too* shabby for that....enjoy. My advice is pick the ones you like and delete the rest after you've dl'd it...there is a *fair bit of crap* IMHO.. ...**
