Since none of you seem to have this problem, I sat down and tried a few things to see if I could narrow it down. The collecting script didnt' help, unfortunately, but it's nice to know that there is that feature.

To start out with, I took a basic Aiko and put the Mitsu hair on her in Poser 7 and saved that file. I also tried it with the Paris hair. I imported both into Vue and neither hair came in. Then I got to thinking that maybe Vue wasn't liking my runtime, so I installed the Paris Hair into the default Poser 7 runtime, made a new Poser file and tried importing that. It worked fine. I opened up the original PZ3 in a text editor to see if the file paths were wrong but they looked correct.

So next, I switched my Vue to point to Poser 6. Then I opened Poser 6, which is linked to my runtimes in my Poser 7 folder (the same ones that were causing the problem in the first place). I placed Aiko in the scene with the hair in question, saved that file and imported it. Lo and behold it imports fine.

Then on a whim, I tried two more things. With Vue 6 still linked to Poser 6, I tried importing the original Poser 7 file. No luck. Then I took my original Poser 7 file, opened it in a text editor and changed the version number to 6 (this would sometimes work in Vue 5), but no dice there either.

So, apparently Vue 6 doesn't like Poser 7 external runtimes, but likes them well enough with Poser 6. I remember reading somewhere on E-on's site that they had problems with the Poser 7 SDK and multiple runtimes. I was hoping they had resolved these in the Vue 6 updates since then, but apparently not. (Sigh). Looks like it's back to using Poser 6 for my Vue projects...
