Thanks all for your help. Like I said in my first post, I've had problems all along with Poser hair and I've been using Vue since version 4. But I'll focus on the current incarnation, because that is what I'd like to have work correctly. :D

Im using Poser 7 and Vue 6 Esprit, both updated to the latest versions on an Intel iMac running Mac OS 10.4.11. As far as I have seen, Vue 6 has very few problems importing from Poser 6. It's when I add Poser 7 to the mix that I have the problems again. My suspicion, like someone else mentioned is that this is actually a Poser 7 issue (that program is riddled with bugs). Unfortunately, with the Intel Mac, working exclusively in Poser 6 is a pain because it is not Universal Binary. Add to that the lack of multiple undos (dont know how I ever got bay without that) and the lack of morphing brush...

All my runtimes are contained within the Poser 7 Folder in my Applications folder on my primary hard drive. I have Poser 6 linked up to the same runtimes as Poser 7 all within my Poser 7 folder.

Quote - The issue here is that they changed the library loading system in P7, and introduced some virtualization; the P7 saved pathway is not logically complete. Nothing prevents you from doing your work in P7, saving, then opening and resaving in P6 to correct that issue. It's a kludge step, but it does work.....

I tried this out and it seems to work. Poser 6 gives me an error when it opens the file (about the version number), but it opens. I could probably get rid of that error if I edit the PZ3 to change the version of the file. It may be a pain, but it's no where near as much of a pain as exporting as an OBJ file then relinking all the materials.
