Dear estherau;
Here is JoePublics tutorial on making my remap MAT posable (I could have done this myself, but de3cided not to after all the flak I got just from remapping her. There are people here who wish to out-DAZ Daz itself.
***Part 1: Open the remapped V4.1 object in UV mapper.
Select -->select by --> material
Highlight all materials you want to reassign
by holding ctrl.
Then:
Tools --> assign to --> material
Type in the EXACT name of the matching V3 material.
(You better make a list beforehand with all of V3's material names)
You get a warning that the new material doesn't exist.
Press "OK" to create it.
Do this for all materials EXCEPT the eylashes, eyes and mouth/teeth/tounge as these were not remapped, so they must keep their original V4.1 names.
Save the object and turn it into a figure using the Setup room and the V4.1 cr2 (just two mouseclicks), or hack a V4.1 cr2 with a text editor.
To texture her, first apply a V4.1 mat for the lashes/eyes and mouth/teeth/tounge, then a V3 mat for the rest. (Or vice versa)
If you're going to use a certain V3 texture more frequently, use the material room to make a material collection (mc6) that combines the V3 and V4 textures you used, so the next time you can texture your V4.1 from head to toe with a single click.
(You can also make material collections if you textured her manually
Part 2:
Question: 'what about EyeSocket and Lacrimal?'***
***Answer: Leave them like they are.
Same with any other eye, lashes, mouth, tounge and teeth material.
Only reassign THESE materials :
V4.1 material V3 material

3_SkinLeg --> SkinLeg
3_SkinFoot --> SkinFeet
3_Toenail --> Toenails

***I hope that this is of value to you.
Yours truly,
