Blender is an OpenSource 3D modeling and animation software with a bit of a screwy UI...once you figure that part out it's an awesome app. In your case you just have to read the WIKI link I posted and go to the site linked here and dl the Mac O/S ver. scroll down the page...good luck eith this but the OBJ export plugin[dan's post] really looks more suited to your needs if you have SolidWorks already IMHO.. ...

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
