James, Neat! I like that staff and the bottle. What else do wizards need? My characters usually have a "girdle of many pouches" or a small box with lots of drawers (think Chinese apothecary)and a preservative spell to hold all those spell components. My 5th level gnome relies on her pockets , the others need special furnishings. A small "ointment" jar (like cold cream) can be textured to hold Healing salve. A rough bottle with good stopper(!) can hold "Oil of Slipperiness" and other messy things. A flat black mirror or crystal as a focus or scrying device? A wooden box (with "G" rune? ) could hold more than seeds. We tend to pick up keys, too, so a magical keyring? Circlets and diadems are nice. An amulet which could be textured with tiny icons for the 4 elements might protect a mage from, um, spell backfire? Hope these are thought-starters! Carolly
