The modern potato chip bag is a nightmare to open. If you aren't careful you rip the bag suddenly and scatter the chips all over the place. You have to concentrate so hard on how to open the bag, that the company hopes you will not notice the bag is filled with mainly air and very few chips.

I learned my lesson on this and always use scissors to open the bag that way the few crisps that said company puts in the bag are safe and only the air spills out...lol!
