Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
Definitely. As long as I do it only at home, it's good.... A few times I've found myself
trying out face expressions or hand positions while riding the bus, and got some
really strange looks. Probably thought I was Touretting.

I am not sure about that....It really depends how close a frame you are doing.
Close ups you may be right.
If you think about it, if you are viewing a conversation from a little distance, you can still pick up a lot of what is going on from the body language.
Klutz.

Life is a beta.
In faecorum semper, solum profundum variat.
I tend to 'act' while using poser rather than the other way around. Often with posing figures - espically hands and lower arms to get them right. With faces - the old animators trick of using a mirror really helps.
I've found it's a subconcious thing - you do it without realising - but it's free entertianment for the folks arouind you :) LOL.
I recently created a presenantion using a mix of poser, video and greenscreen. what is telling is when you see yourself on a 6ft whiteboard is all the ticks - like jumbling words and touching nose - you don't get those in poser animations. I tried to add a few but they seem to either jump or where stilted and unatural.
Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

i do. it helps me create keyframes.. NOT THAT im good at it.. but acting it out gets me in the mood. so thus if i were to do crappy animation by just imagining.acting it out makes it 50 percent less crappy
im not an actor but i've found myself acting alot. i act animation of humans and voice acting. and facial expressions
