I'm glad that Renderosity will take action. That's really intolerable behavior. Creating models, texturing them, even rigging them if they are clothes take a lot of time. It's totally up to the creator what's allowed, and when I don't like to have "no commercial"-freestuff, there is a simple solution - don't download it in the first place. But telling "Your present is too small, make it bigger NOW" only shows what kind of person someone is. But there were a lot of freestuff providers who got emails like that, this is by far not the first thread I read about that. I fear there will always be people which expect you to work for them for free - and demand further works instead of saying "Thank You".

But I enjoyed some of the emails I got for my freebies, although they surely aren't first class. I still dabble at modeling and like it if anyone can use what I create, and it's always nice to hear that from the users. I suspect there would be much more freebies if more people would not take them for granted, but say thanks more often.

But then, I used a lot of freebies, probably starting with Anton's and Tim Laubachs great Posette-textures, and rarely mailed the providers. Taking things for granted is easy. Well, nobody is perfect, at least I did not send unfriendly or demanding mails.
