Hi **ColdWarTendencies,
I'm not too sure what you wanted done exactly but I gave it somewhat of a try, if it's not what you were after, no problem, thought I'd give it a go anyway.

Hugs and Blessings

There great Ra3vyn & Olivier

It's there to do what you wish with , Just something for people with
to much time on there hand's or to try a new skill!

Ra3vyn , 1st attempt look's a lot more intense in colour & sharper ?
Olivier , Love the B&W , How did you achieve this ?
Brightness & contrast or levels ?

Thanks again Guy's & Gals!

Leave's somewhat happy people have done justice to the photo

Hey ColdWar ;o)

i've done this :

  • 3 layers : foreground, the machine, the sky.
--> contrast, level and curves + manual touch to the foreground
--> excessive contrast on machine to just have black and white
    --> curves on the sky

I've associated layer by layers to erase what i want to have on the final image.

After that some manual finitions ... ho yes, and 2 unsharp mask with different selection.
About 15min ..

Seeya ;o)

Hmm I Sharpened and upped Saturation, drew border and expanded canvas. For the B&W simply dropped saturation down to zero.

Glad you liked the results :)

Jo :)

No time to list all that I did, but basically made it B&W with selective color left in the crane arms. I also lightened and adjusted contrast in the foreground as it was a bit flat.

Good fun this.

Something similar happened to me on a demolition site, not as dramatic as this but I did sever a main cable that had not been detected, just one flash and it was all over.

Something like this happens to me when I drink too much beer. :-D
