I will not comment if I don't see something worth commenting on!
I don't collect friends but I do flag artists that I've found whose work I admire....even yours...lol
Sometimes I don't comment..because sometimes, rather than criticize..I just look and go on because I don't always feel qualified to tell someone what to do to be better.
I know what I like..if I like it I tell you....if I don't...it only means I don't like it, not that there's something wrong with it.

But the fact remains that there are so many wonderful artists here that you can't possible have enough time to keep up with all of them without flagging them as faves or friends.  If a person only wanted to get lots of comments by collecting friends..they wouldn't have enough time to keep up either.   I comment on lots of artists who  never come to see my work..but that's not a problem to me...like Digimon says..."so many artists so little time".    :biggrin:
