I imagine any exchanges would be up to the vendor you bought from. 
If you ask in the forum...before you buy it..someoene will most probably answer to let you know if anyone has had trouble with it or if it does work in DS. 
Many vendors don't have anyone to test their product in DS so that's why they say it isn't  "tested"  in DS...If it says it  "will not work" in DS..I would take them at their word...lol   Not tested means they don't really know..that's why I suggested asking someone in a forum if they are familiar with the product first.

A lot of people are having issues with DS 2.0...I am not using it right now because I'm having issues with it...lol    I had to order a new graphics card..it seems that it required openGL 1.5
Check that your graphics card drivers are up to date.
