I use filezilla at work all the time, I have found it does have some funny turns, mainly to do with the information sending. Looking at your screenshot and at Acadia instructions you are doing the right thing, but maybe this problem is not related to the software.

Looking at your screenshot you are trying to send a directory with about 60MB of information, could  it be possible that the server you are sendin this to has a cap on the bandwidth?
I am guessing this because you have a file in your target server called ".ftpquota".
A lot of hosting companies though they have a large storage space, do put a limit on the amount of bandwidth used.

If this is the case you may have to send this information in pieces. So you just need to copy the directory structure on your target directory and copy the files separately.

Might be a good idea contacting them, or looking over their hosting info if they are any details about this. Probbly somewhere in the small print... ;¬)
