With Vue 2, on a Pentium II-300 I had at this time, happend the following : When I downloaded the patch for Vue 2.1 and installed it as described by e-onsoftware, it did not install well. That's why I would ask you to have a look, after opening Vue 2.1 and in clicking at HELP--->ABOUT VUE, if the window shows 2.1 effectively. If not, install the patch again the following way : Unzip the patch for 2.1 in a temporary folder, then setup from there to the Vue directory. Its worth to give it a try, anyhow. Vue 2.1 should not crash so much. And don't forget to save your scene very often, even better under two different names, to have always a copy of your file. The only problem I had with Vue 2.1 crashing was with 64 RAM. When I brought the RAM up to 128, no more (or only very few) crashes. A funny thing : Vue d'Esprit version 1 absolutely never crashed. :-)Guitta
