cage, I'm using Poser 7/OS X.  it gives a generic message that the application has quit unexpectedly, along with a statement that the OS and other applications are unaffected, which is false in poser's case, due to serious programming errors that were made in poser 7 (e.g. it writes to the applications folder, screws up users' permissions et al.).  poser 7 is the least stable app I'm currently using.  it is necessary to repair the drive and repair permissions whenever I use poser 7.

I'll try to edit said file.  it looks like the attached in BBEdit, which is the default OS X app for
editing cr2 files and python scripts, without altering the formatting.

I should say that, in the case of the poser ball and box, it actually got to the point
where it created 2 folders at the top level of the tdmt folder, and it wrote
a vwt  file in a subfolder of each folder, but it crashed before I could save anything.
perhaps if I had step-by-step instructions on how to transfer shape from poser 7 ball to
poser 7 box, then I could see if it works in poser 7/OS X.  it would mean spelling out
absolutely every operation, on the assumption that I haven't the slightest idea how to do it.
