I was encountering similar Poser 7 crashes with TDMT myself, before I started making alterations to the script.  The problems for me seem to focus on the popup mechanism being used for some of the secondary functions, which is part of why I'm splitting the script up into smaller pieces.  You may be having the same problem, here.  In which case, I should try to get the new version together and try to get my FTP access to my site working so I can upload it.

Let me know if the new TDMT.py helps at all.  If you get new errors, let me know.  I'll do my best to debug this thing.
