Ian Alexander's Natural Patterns, Wallpapers & Backgrounds Library
This is alive - and a great resource! (I especially like the wall of HardKnott Fort - which is near where I used to live).
Dead
Abnormal Human and Monster Textures - Afterlife.de
Alive although not a lot of stuff here, the organic spaceship tutorial is interesting though.
Steve's Digicams Macro & Closeup Samples - Page 15
Alive and a fabulous resource for modelling - the photos are so detailed! Insects, watches, circuit boards, flowers etc etc.
Not found so Dead.
Index of -Membres-Jean-Dominique.Gascuel-DEAIVR-Blender-TheBlenderBook-DigitalDesignBox
Dead - page not found.
This is alive but really just informative, not a resource for images or textures or models, but interesting all the same. (A NASA Site)
Animation Master Materials from Animation Pit Stop
Not sure if this should be classed as alive or dead, as there are no materials there but there are links to animation sites, including the very recent release "Spiderwick Chronicles".
If you just go to http://www.animationpitstop.com/ you get exactly the same list of links, but no link to materials or textures...... so I dunno.
General Images from FLSuncoast.com
Um...
This also goes to the same "AnimationPitStop" link list. If it's meant to then that's alive - if not then it's dead.

Also alive. Reference images of water.
A library of high resolution textures
And it certainly is, very high res and a fascinating variety, not lots of images but what there is, is excellent. Alive.
Dead.
Looks alive but every link leads to a blank page, dead.
NOCTUA Graphics Website
Alive - has textures that can be used in Bryce - 459 of them, plus some materials and shaders for Cinema4D.
Not sure if this is dead or just obstructive since it wanted me to register, but when I did I got this message:
Download productsIn order to help other members find the best resources it is important that you rate any products that you download. After you download your files go to the product review page to rate and review any products you have downloaded.
Products available for download You currently do not have any products available for download.
You can however get to a page to buy textures, but as I have no money I couldn't test that out...
So... dunno on this one. But the actual link you have posted gives you this message:
" Oops!It looks like we had a little problem just now, sorry about that.
If you got this page by following a link from another site then chances are good they have a bad link. Either way, we have recorded this error and will try and correct the problem.
In the mean time, use the links above to browse around."
So I'd say that particular link is dead, but the site may not be...
