LOL...well, maybe more recent versions aren't "crash-free", but at least Vue 3 is much more stable than it's predecessor. I would turn off your Norton Utilities (all of them) that are running in the background...I have trouble with them too. Actually, turn off anything running in the background that you don't really need (except a firewall maybe). Vue is very processor and ram hungry and giving it all you can is always a good idea :).
