I got that today. I dismissed it. After the problems people noted with the latest iTunes on Windows (7.6), I have been just continually dismissing the Apple Updates of late. Heck, iTunes works and QuickTime works - if it ain't... (you know the rest).
Why would I want Safari on Windows? I don't use Safari on MacOS. Hint: I use Firefox on both - always will and, er, always will.
When Steve tries to add 'Finder' to windows, I'll be looking for the 'Never ask me again, ever, damn you!' switch. I don't like Finder at all. I don't much like Explorer either. Another Hint: I use DirectoryOpus (oh, for a MacOS version of this!).
Rant: In these days of spam, viruses, spyware, rootkits, dosa, hackers, crackers, and other nasty things on the internet, nobody should ever just click 'OK' away on anything without thorough investigation. My god, have we not learned our lessons yet? Do people still click on links in emails promising money from Nigerian banks? Eeks! ;)
C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the
foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg
off.
