Well... if that's so, then I can see why you're confused by my question. LOL When this sort of things happens, it's probably fair to assume that Cage is confused and he goofed somewhere. Hmm. I'm wondering if I may have down something which created a reference loop in my test code and I ended up re-setting the distance values I was tracking. Should have used copies of the values, perhaps. At any rate, I was getting funny results, and I checked the hit dists (as there were in the list to which I'd logged them) against the point-distances and the hit dists were very high. (A distance of 5.0, say, compared to 0.2). I think I probably did something odd in one of my loops.
