Wow Carolly, sounds like great advise. I had not even thought about some of it. I particularly want to try your suggestion of the purple from the sky on the damp planks. There are other subtitle details, such as to the water, that I had thought of adding when I got the chance, but I had not thought about doing the planks that way.
