Yeah, you could implement addition and a few other things like that with TriPolys/Ngons - and I had thought of that - but the extension isn't/wasn't at a point of generating 'new' geometry, per-se, when I wrote that. So I wasn't thinking narrowly, but my wording was probably poorly chosen :).
BTW, I just remembered... when I was doing the code for generating/setting the Tex Verts for Ngons, I discovered that the code I had previously written for doing the same with TriPolys was wrong/insufficient, but I forgot to go back and fix it. For the time-being, you should not pass the (optional) 'texpolylist' to the TriPolygonize() routine, or count on those elements being correct in tripolys unless you know that the entire mesh in question is fully uv-mapped. The indices found in the Ngons (if not set to 'None') should be correct though.
Cinema4D Plugins (Home of Riptide, Riptide Pro, Undertow, Morph Mill, KyamaSlide and I/Ogre plugins) Poser products Freelance Modelling, Poser Rigging, UV-mapping work for hire.
