First you have to load the plugin. I had a problem with that because it said to go to the xtras tab in Lightwave and I didn't have one until I went to preferences and chose to use the Lightwave 6.0 layout. Once you change it you will select Extras > Add Plug-Ins. You will find the plugin in the Lightwave folder, not Poser. It is in the PzrForLW foler in the Lightwave plug-in folder. Choose the PzrForLW6x.p and hit OK. You'll get a box saying the plugin was successfully loaded. Now you select Files>Load Scene. You want to select the All Files in the Files of Type pull-down menu and then locate your desired Poser (*.pz3) file. Mind you this is for Lightwave 6.5 Hope this helps, I've had this for a while but just started playing with it. Haven't even loaded the 6.5b update cause I don't want to rock the boat on the project I'm working on. Knowing my luck it will change something in my System directory and mess with my other program....lol Yes, I'm paranoid at this point. At any rate it pulled the pz3 file in without a problem. Marque
