Don't even try using re-poser inside of Vue - its way too slow and error prone.  The best thing to do when you want to repose is to just fix the pose in Poser and re-save.  It will then ask to re-import in Vue.  Yes, it will trash all of your materials which is why you need to get the posing done first before applying material changes (e.,g SkinVue). 

I put a feature request into the e-on folks to do a "re-import Geometry only" which would preserve all the materials and just re-import the geometry.  If they had this, you would never need the re-poser anyway.
