I try to pose in Poser to the best of my ability however quite often I still need to adjust the pose to fit with the rest of the scene.  I did try posing in Vue which worked but its not set up the same and it eats resources.  so i basically I follow the same work flow as Thefixer.
As for the problem having to repeat the skinvue setup - you can save the setting for the body and for the eyes within vue , so when you reimport from poser you just need to reload these 2 settings.
The problem is I often change features of the skinvue material in the function editor and if I repose and reimport I have to repeat that.
So it  would indeed be much nicer if there was an option to reload geometry only, without materials, I hope they incorporate it.
