Yeah, I saw that you were trcking some additional data per mesh... what I would probably do is just wrap your myMesh around the MeshType, so the MeshType pointers just become new members of your myMesh class.  Either that, or just create a new / separate class to hold the other data (particles, springs, inc_screen, etc.).

I'm also considering adding a few 'userdata' type members, which would allow you to store whatever you want in the MeshType.

BTW, I had added a few comments to one of your earlier scripts (attached), just search for 'Spanki' to see them.. nothing major, just a few comments/tips.
