jen, go to - window>preferences>drawing (see image) and insert the checkmark

all is going as expected (whatever that means) - have been fighting to get into yahoo mail - took me a full day and it seems to work again but i don't have the foggiest what was wrong - must have been either my isp or yahoo :cursing:
