Quote - 1. install and use one copy of the Product on a single computer. The user may also makeand use a second copy of the Product on a home or portable computer provided that copy

is never loaded in the RAM of the home or portable computer at the same time it is loaded in

the RAM of the primary computer.

You can; provided that you uninstall the copy that is on the computer that you will be using in Hong Kong. Technically, it just means that you can't use the two copies at the same time on different machines.

bikermouse ( ) posted Fri, 11 April 2008 at 1:04 AM

I got it as a kid - I haven't had mad cow yet though. Sorry to hear you have it - as I remember it as a four year old it was no fun but my doctor prescribed seven-up which made it bearable.

erosiaart ( ) posted Fri, 11 April 2008 at 1:33 AM

seven up????

dhama ( ) posted Fri, 11 April 2008 at 2:44 AM

I think the doc perscribed fizzy drinks cuz young kids like that :-P prolly just to cheer him up :-)

Woah! Rosy! I'm so sorry. But if you have it like I had it - the adult chickenpox, and I'm not talking about shingles here (I was 32) - you are in for a very rough time.  I had it for 3 weeks and it was 3 weeks of screaming hell. I spent most of it in bed and woke every night screaming my head off, in a cold sweat after soaking the sheets.

My Doc gave me stuff to stop me itching but I still have the scars. You need plenty of fluids and rest and stay away from mirrors. You won't like what you see. I'm glad you are with family because you are going to need them.

Get well soon, Rosy.

This sounds crazy but when my kids had it I heard liquid starch helped the itching. It really seemed to work. Just smear it all over ;)

erosiaart ( ) posted Fri, 11 April 2008 at 1:23 PM

ACK! 2 am here and i'm trying not to scream. punching pillows. who ever invented this disease??????? i'm flooded with calamine.
thebryster..you seem to have had it bad. my fever stays less than 102, thank goodness.

AnnieD ( ) posted Fri, 11 April 2008 at 1:33 PM

I am still getting over the adult variety..got it before xmas and the doc said it could take 6 months to get rid of..and he's right I think.  It looked so bad in the beginning I thought I had leprosy.....it was naaaasty..  Now it just itches...the blisters are gone but there are still some red marks.
Good luck Rosy..and do what the doctor tells you.

can i scratch you please..i have longish nails, good for back scratching...back is the worse place for an itch when you have chicken pox..oooh feel that itch starting, in the place you just can't reach.....arrrggg no you can't scratch it.

Sorry to hear you got CP, my mother had a sure way of making sure all 3 of us got it and got it over with..when one got it she made us all stay in the same room until we all caught it lol...same with measles and any other child like bugs.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

I remember an episode of SouthPark where the parents made sure the kids all got chickenpox by making them have sleepovers until they got it - the kids figured it out and to revenge this evil deed they found someone with herpes to use all  the parents personal devices (mostly toothbrushes, towels and the like) so the parents all would get herpes. One parent (Eric's mom) got it in an unusual place but I ain't saying where.

Seven-up ! ! yep! it worked and no there was no meds in it. I think it was just something to make me more comfortable. Too much sugar in it now though! Squirt or Mountain Dew might be better.

Rayraz ( ) posted Sat, 12 April 2008 at 5:27 PM

lol i dont think 7up woulda helped for me :-P that stuff is gross! both with and without vodka :P

Awwww, Rosie.  I'm so sorry to hear that - make sure your family keeps up the stock of calamine lotion - it's the best thing for it.

My daughter had it the most recently when she was 12 - she's 24 now, but calamine was the thing even then.  If you can keep the bottle in the fridge and apply it cold - it's even better.

No no, really  - it helps to calm down the itching.  It's like when you have sunburn, calamine lotion cold helps then too.

Well cool anyway.

Yeah Women !! Gotta love 'em(got no choice).

Hopefully, the worst is over. If not at least it's not Altzheimer's - It seems like that takes forever to get over.

erosiaart ( ) posted Wed, 16 April 2008 at 10:20 PM

LOL..love you guys so much.. it is so good to have you making me laff...
i am in tears.. just so fed up.. the worse is over..now i just have to wait for the scabs to completely dry and fall..and that seems to take forever.. and you just don't feel good if you can't take a proper bath or you get stuck in one bedroom , and everyone else is out there when you supposed to be out there having fun! And you stuck with stupid pox.....
at least with Alzhiemer's, you forget you forgot..so it doesn't matter...

sigh.....
