Chippwalters,

My outrage was in response to the use of obscenities in a forum over a really trivial issue. I have no problem with anyone defending Vue, but I think it stands on its own merit. All one (Xpleet included) needs to do is check out the Vue galleries, and there will be little doubt of Vue’s capabilities. I have it, and have been a paying customer for years. I also use Carrara Pro, and have been using that product since Ray Dream days. I also used trueSpace (but stopped using it after it became too icon based – from my ergonometric point of view – but TS does have excellent modeling capabilities).

Vue 6 Infinite has been a wonderful product for me, and creative folks like you (I’ve purchased several of your excellent products) have extended its use far beyond its stock capabilities. I also consider Carrara an excellent product, which has some truly outstanding capabilities which Vue lacks.

I don’t know who Xpleet is, but really didn’t see any reason for such a vitriolic response to his somewhat valid comments. I simply didn’t see Vue being denigrated and think there is no place for such absurd overreaction in a forum. I rarely visit the Vue Forum, and spend more time at the Carrara Forum. That’s not because I find Carrara the superior product – because I don’t think it is the superior product, but it just might have the more useful forum?

I apologize for my over-the-top remarks -- I simply thought that the more obnoxious rhetoric was not from this “Xpleet” person (I assume he owns Vue -- if not, his comments are pretty irrelevant, and should simply be ignored). I have little patience for software religion.
