Well, the first thing I see is our balcony railing. Beyond that is a parking lot and a hedge of rosebushes. Right now they are rather transparent, but once the leaves grow the road will be hidden. On the other side of the road are more houses, six stories high.

Turning my head a bit I can see the crossroads with the traffic lights, a Hesburger a gas station, a carwash and the shopping center which hosts a grocery store, video rental, pet food shop, a hair dresser, a pizza and kebab joint (yumm) and a local pub I would not set my foot in unless I got paid to do it.

It really isn't as bad as it might sound. In the Summer it gets green and at night the coloured lights are pretty. We also get quite a few birds, some even come sit on the railing. (Unfortunately they often leave a white calling card behind.)
