with this new version it seems to be the way it's done for cataloging purposes i guess. i have a newer type question though i have shaders and shader presets that are for daz that are not showing up in my content lists 0_o how do i get them to show up now or do i have to uninstall it allll again and figure it out from there?
You can switch to seeing how files are stored on your disc, rather than using the database, from the Content palette option menu (the triangle button at top-right of the palette). The View fodlers as... options are the old way, showing the folder structure you installed to, while the View categories as... options are the database system.
Downloaded it. Installed it. None of my contents worked on it. Something to do with my graphics card not being hi-tec enough, as far as I can see. So a warning: it may not work if your computer's more than 2 years old. Kicked the damn thing off and re-installed good old 1.4.16.0, which always served my needs anyway.
The more I read, the less keen I am to update. It took days to get 1.8.2.1 or whatever running along with setting up the contents and understanding its foibles. The idea of going through that again is too just too much. I'm beginning to get tempted by the idea of Poser - the problem I have now is that Poser 4 has stopped working in Vista, don't know why. Spring has arrived and the outside world is far more tempting than endless bog-eyed frustration........
Can you change where content is filed? like Aiko is in uncatalogued and it would be nice if she joined the free V4 in "People" - ditto all the other figures.
Is that possible?

Hi Studio folk
I just got in and saw the news... Version 2.1.1.1.13 is available for download (and it is still free! LOL) I haven't looked at it yet-still downloading- but it seems to have a whole lot of new things that will add to its power.
Enjoy,
Vincent
