Here's a test render of my first attempt of Chul Kuk, from the Audition Manhwa. 
VSS2: Mac P6, Firefly with AO, Raytrace, bumps. Neutral colored lights (not IBL)
(AO spots were retouched out of the image. Face is without AO)

bB: That looks just perfect to me! I like the lighting.

Have you tried increasing the RayBias on the AO node? It might help with Poser 6 artifacts.
