I've built many PCs in the past. If you went to Newegg and priced the components (including a high quality 1000 watt power supply) you couldn't build the same quality this Mac contains for the same $$.  I went to HP and Dell to price their workstations.  The equivalent PC was ~ $1000 more than the Mac. I have 5 Win PCs, and 2 Win Core2 laptops, but they simply cannot touch the new Mac Pro quality -- in my opinion.

The only downside is that the Mac version of Vue6I is still 32 bit, though an old, really big Vue5I scene that constantly crashed on my 32-bit Vista Q6600 (OC'ed to a very stable 3.0 GHz), ran smooth on the Mac.  Leopard is a full 64-bit OS, so I imagine e-on will have a 64-bit version of Vue6I soon (?).  Until then, Vista 64-bit Business runs like lightning on the Mac, and, so far, is very stable.  Apple just released a big Boot Camp upgrade, and it looks as if Apple is serious about supporting the Windows side of the Mac line.

Consider, that now with the Intel Macs, the only debate is over the OS.  The hardware debate is over.  Intel loves the Mac OS, and typically releases the newest CPU/chipsets to the Apple world first.

I'm not a Vista basher however, It has some very nice features.
