Okay - heres WIP-01, The easy stuff from Brysters starting point.  Starting with a cube, shape and repeated for the crenallations. another cube for the wall, make it positive, then using negaitve cubes for the opening, the metal grille is cylinders. textures etc, and bryce trees. Note to the Bryster - theres some damn funny perspective lines in this image, gonna be fun trying to duplicate them. Ive already decided not to include the people, after all its a Bryce challenge and i would need to poser them in. and quite frankly i'm going to have my work cut out with the architecture. right now onto the next bit.
