Subject: upgrade question

Am wanting to install my P6 but not locating my CDs, and yes it is a legal and registered copy. Is there an upgrade version from 6 to 7 and will it have to have 6? Checked the smithmicro site and didnt see anything.

All you should need is your serial number from Poser 6 to get the upgrade to Poser 7.

cool thx, but since I cant find the Cd to install6....is there an upgrade to 7 and if so is it the full program or just update files?

With the P6 serial you are able to purchase P7 as "the full monthy" - your'e able to download the full functional P7.
(But you should think about upgrading directly to PoserPro, IMO - it's much better, more stable, provides you with queue rendering and 64bit support and has all the features P7 has.)

Thank you, is the upsale from P6 the same price as buying P7 without owning P6? Cause P6 is a disaster to me. I cant get it to di squat. have been thru everything I can find. So one more time I will try the new version.

No, upgrading to P7 from P6 costs less.

On Content Paradise there are two versions of P7, the "Full" version and the "Upgrade from Poser 4 or later" version. You'd want the upgrade version which is about $120 less than the full version.
