WIP-3, additional modelling of the archway (i'll get to the frieze later) - also modelling the birdcage and potted plant. The use of birdcages in old paintings is symbolic of the artists trapped soul or muse, maybe he is being forced to paint something against his will. i notice there are a lot of birdcages in this image. not sure what the potted plant, or the rugs over balcony mean, but they occur frequently too.
