If your update doesn't work..  Just a few questions:

When was the last time you cleaned out disk drive junk?  -should do it every day especially temp files including cookies.  Some of this junk may load up RAM

I have found that with these quirky problems simple disk drive maintenance works most of the time and if it doesn't you need to do it anyway.

When was the last time you defragged your computer-I do mine every week.

Rationale, over time, portions of software programs (and everything else) tend to scatter out through your hard drive.  This makes it hard for the hard drive' pickup heads to assemble everything that the software requires to operate properly.  You need to collect all that stuff and place it in a more orderly fashion and together.  That is what defragging does.

How long have you had Poser on (during the day).  Have you been switching between Poser and other software programs.  Before you start on a Poser project, you should restart your computer (wait a minute before bringing your computer back on line).  Rationale:  A few software programs don't flush out of  RAM when closing and you need to power down so that the RAM has a chance to discharge.  Jan
