I have painter3d running on my xpPro...:)  you need to update it to work with anything more then poser propack though, and I do not think that poser is including the designer export anymore since 5 at least..

It will create UVMaps, but along the lines of UVMapper Classic...not too great.

It will import the figure with texture templates though, and you can choose the size to work it with.
