A resolution of 300 ppi - fine. But at which size?

There are no size restrictions, but a preferred size would be in the 8 1/2 x11 to A4 range

will the art have to target a subject.. or just send art? This is what I having trouble understanding...

There is no subject required.  Anything you've designed has the potential to be something we use.  So far we've gotten portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, abstract art, and many other types of artwork

*Are these considered as 'commercial'? i.e. if the picture uses items (perhaps freebies) designated as 'for non-commercial use only' would using the image for this purpose be 'illegal'?

These images will be used for marketing communications only.  This will not violate that stipulation.  They won't be sold or submitted elsewhere for such purpose*

**i also have the question that will we recieve notification if and when something is being used so we can see it to add to a porfolio or something of that nature otherwise excellant idea

*We'll try our best to contact you when we use your work.  As long as you have some means of contact, I'll let you know that we used your artwork and what for.
