The feet are easy: just turn off visibility for your characters feet.
Knees are trickier. If you hide the characters shins, you may be hiding too much, it might leave gaps where you should see the knee.
Using the "taper" dial on the shins probably helps.

By the way, do those boots have morphs? In that case, you might be able to widen the tops a little. If not, you can try using the xScale and zScale dials on the thighs (will force the shins to grow wider at the tops), or you could use magnets to adjust the boots.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
