That is a really weird issue. I have recently upgraded to Vista Business 64 and installed P7 and PoserPro but the compression did not affect my external runtimes. Only the native P7 and PoserPro stuff that came with the installation was compressed, everything else was the same as before.

Btw, you should notice that P7 and PoserPro run much better and faster on Vista, at least that's my experience.
