3dsMax allows you to use metric or feet/inches as units.

Sure it does. But changing the unit system from metric to feet and adjusting the cameras will get you exactly the same scene as you had before. And a non-physical renderer will render it the same als the scene in metric sizes. To 3DS Max, it doesn't matter - as long as you're not using any physics based plugin (reactor, cloth).

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
