Yep, get the patch first. :) In Poser, select Export > DXF and that should be followed by a dialogue asking you which items you want included. Uncheck everything except the hair, and you'll be exporting only the hair. After that, uncheck the hair but check everything else and you'll be exporting just the figure. Also, these models will export without textures, so be aware of the location of your textures, and you'll be able to apply them once the model is imported into Vue. Many folks here have a lot of experience getting the textures applied and will be happy to help if you run into any problems with that part. :)
