Poser's DXF export actually works? That kinda surprises me, because evn their 3DS format is kinda screwy, and I thought everyone knew how to make a good 3DS export... Another thing Lady (don't mean to sound rude, LOL!) is that you will be doing much better to get the patch, install it, and and from then on use Poser's .OBJ format, since it will also have a .mtl material file created at the same time which will tell Vue what materials, textures to apply on import. You will need to have your textures in the same folder as the folder that your .OBJ is exported to. You can make a temp folder and copy the textures used to there for this, or you can not worry about it and apply them in Vue after import, but whenever you manually apply a texture to a Poser figure, you mustchange the Y scale to -1.000. As for other file formats, I can assure you that Vue 3 has no trouble at all, and even some of the most complex 3D Studio Max models will load into Vue (as .3DS) with everything perfect, including transparencies. In other words, do not fear upgrading because Vue 3.1's object import is nearly perfect and with Vue 3 you also get LWO 5.6 format and Vue 4 will add .COB format and probably LWO 6.0 (6.5?), as well as Poser PZ3 format. In just a little bit I'll post an example of a very complex and utterly perfect 3DS model rendered in Vue 3.1 :)
