For a game, realtime is at least 60fps (30 fps, locked is also used). For a preview in a 3D graphics app, you could go as low as 10-15. Poser's cloth never really seemed dynamic to me in that respect. Any change and you have to run the sim again, and the sim seams to eat more memory the longer the sequence of frames, since it's expected to be able to play things back smoothly after calculating. The bullet cloth would be dynamic in the sense of constantly calculating. Now whether you could record it, perhaps to export as a series of morphs the way people are getting Poser cloth into Carrara, would be based on how it was written I imagine.
