You could try watching memory/virtual memory usage while using Poser (use Task Manager). I suspect the swap file - it may be too small. While Windows dynamically increases swap file size when needed, Poser is too impatient - it tends to hang up whenever Windows needs to increase the swap file size. Solution: use a custom sized swap file of at least 4 GB minimum size.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
