Guitta, in Vue 3.1 I've never been presented with the option to browse for a missing texture that the .mtl file was missing. Just like pressing the "cancel" button seems to have no effect. I hadn't mentioned 3DS until I began mentioning Vue 3.1, and I know that Vue 2.1's only options are dxf and obj. But I'm wondering why you disagree with exporting props with the figure? Usually I do export them separately, just so to have them as separate objects (which I promptly group together in Vue anyway), but there is no harm in having them within the figure hierarchy as far as I've been able to tell, except for the sake of keeping track of "body" parts, which can become a confusing thing.
