To get rid of the 'man at the center':
With respect to DAZ|Studio into Poser - no. The D|S scene file is binary, proprietary, and Poser doesn't know anything about it.
Do you happen to be using V4 (or some derivative) with the scene crashing Poser? Then you should go back into the General Preferences and on the "Misc." tab, disable "Use external binary morph targets" and click OK again.
Finally, a Poser scene extension is PZ3 or PZZ if file compression is turned on (you'll see that on the Misc. tab as well).
C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the
foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg
off.
