Right now, there's a V4 warrior outfit in my freestuff that contains a lot of V4 morpsh, I've only omitted the "Emaciated" morph. The materials consist of fairly simple procedural shaders.
I've got a commercial product at DAZ - my first - that is a major step up from that freebie outfit: it contains all V4 Morphs++ FBMs, ERC enabled so that they automatically adjust to the V4 character that it is conformed to. The materials are simple, mostly procedural.
I'm a total disaster when it comes to 2D work, so I prefer procedural materials.
Here's a preview of what I'm working on, a leather armor set for V4. I'tll have loads and loads of options (different abdomen styles, different shoulder harness styles, different cup styles, different skirt styles) and will come with bracers, shinguards, a long overskirt, sword and scabbard. I'm planning to deliver it in four separate packs
Everything is UV mapped, and the packages will come with templates. I'm using different material zones: body, stitching, edge, strap, buckle and studs, which makes texturing as easy as it can be.
Everything is still in very preliminary stages, I still have quite a lot of modeling to do, and only a few of the items have been rigged yet.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
