Is your CS2 an upgrade?  If so, you can't run both CS and CS2 on the same computer because of activation issues.

I have stand-alones for CS, CS2 and CS3 but I can still only have one activated at a time because of the shared program files.

You might want to go over to the Adobe forums and see if they have a fix for this.
